Got these today! Thanks Luis! I need to store this for a few months. Should I wash off the release agent first or leave it as is?

Hi Bnam,

You should use the 60's mats forum:

https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=...;start=100

You can clean the release agent very easy with a clean cloth

Up-Date

From last post the following orders were fabricated:

R933231932B Fabricated/Curing
R812514350 Fabricated/Curing
R485509800-7 Fabricated/Curing
R108210198 Fabricated/Curing

I slowed down due to the cold weather in New Hampshire, in days bellow freezing temperatures it is not possible to spray the rubber material.

The good news is that today I paid for the second half of the material and now I have enough material to finish all pending orders PLUS 20+ NEW orders!

As I mentioned before, the material supplier made a minimum material batch that was greater than what I needed. The positive of this is that there is material for the new orders.

As I had to use more resources for materials than I originally planned for, I am short in resources to ship all fabricated orders. The new orders will help this situation. All of you that want to have a set of Low Light mats, please do it now, as I will only be able to make so many sets. After this batch of material is over, it would be almost impossible to make a new batch.

I just got a small lot of key fobs and cardholders!

The Key Fobs are identical to the first ones. Cardholders are slightly wider than the first set I got.

I only have 25 pieces of each. I will sell them only in this forum, the price will be $25 each plus shipping. I will use these funds to ship all fabricated orders ASAP!

Please send me an email to [email protected] including your name, address and your email, and I will send a PayPal request to you. First come, first serve!

Thank you,

Luis

When I did the sun visors I worked with a guy that made huge running board mats for Jay Leno.
I believe he sourced the material from BJB Enterprises in So Cal. bjbenterprises.com
If you need more supplies there should be other sources.
I admire you persistence, great job.

I got a few Key Fob orders, Thank you!

To make sure that the VW key stays inside the Key Fob, use the small silver ring to insert the key(s), before storing, rotate large gold ring 180 degrees, and accommodate key, then pull the ribbon all the way and snap it.

Sound Deadening Undermats

As you all know, I need a minimum order of 15 sets for the water jet shop to do a batch.

I have received various requests so far.

Everyone that have not placed an order jet for the sound deadening mats, please post your desire to see where we are.

Thank you!

Luis
