We are ready to install the dash face in our 1974 KG Coupe. Several folks have referred to the installation but I havent read how it is attached, by that I mean is it glued and clamped? If so, what is the recommended glue? Construction adhesive? Anything that lists plastic as appropriate on the label?
Thanks,

Thanks. I'm sure the answer is buried in a few threads but I really appreciate you narrowing it down for me.

I used the stuff KGPR sells and it's crap.
I've never been happy with 3Ms stuff.
The best canned spray adhesive I've ever used is Keyston high temp spray adhesive.

I used it 16 years ago or so on my 1960 double cab to glue bubble wrap to the roof and recently tried to remove it, the wrap tore before the glue would give. I wish I had used it on my wood grain dash! Ugh. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Weldwood contact cement in another solution though this product is not so forgiving if an unwanted misalignment occurs. |

I used this to glue the plastic upper door covers (black pebble grain) to my vert doors. It does require some forethought and a steady hand. _________________ '74 Zambezi green Ghia vert, autostick, 101k
