1995 Eurovan: No reverse, no neutral, can't even roll

I have a 95 Eurovan just rebuilt - put in my eurovan and no reverse and no nuetral. Its not the back brakes as can jack up the front end and push back. Forward gears work - I can uplug the TCM and still no reverse - also no nuetral even though it says its in nuetral - any ideas ?

I am pissed as this is a totally new set up bascially

You have an internal issue. At this point, it would be spitballing as to why.

Is the shifter cable properly clipped? I had a similar issue shortly after I reinstalled my trans. The clip holding the cable onto the trans had fallen off--my bad

So i did re adjust and make sure the shifter cable was installed correctly.

Ive heard the tab on reverse breaks off easy - if thats the case would I still not have nuetral ? The point that the in nuetral the vehicle will roll forward but not backward and the same in reverse is what has me stumped. Again nothing to do with the brakes.

If you've readjusted the manual valve on the valve-body, then either the valve body or transmission has an internal issue...perhaps one or the other was not rebuilt properly.

For the sake of asking, have you driven it at all in the forward speeds, either manually shifting it or automatically shifting it?

I have driven it about 30 feet - barely. So off its going back to the transmission shop for them to check it. The odd thing to me is the nuetral not allowing it to move backward. it can roll forward but I cannot roll it or reverse it backward. A In hopes of not breaking anything I did not drive it at all basically
