I'm looking at an older Manx build that is not currently registered or plated in CA.
How hard is to register an older build for the first time?
How difficult is it to get a SB100 registration these days? Can you get SB100 for an older build? Or only "newly" constructed vehicles?
(My last Manx was already registered and plated, so all I had to do was transfer the title)
Thx! |

Ok thanks!
Anyone have any recent experience registering a Manx as VW, or SB100 special construction?
Years ago I heard people lined up on New Years day and all Special Construction permits for the year were gone in a day or two.
Saw a post as few years old that said that demand for special construction permits had declined, and you had a better chance of getting one later in the year.
Any recent experience would be helpful. |
