Originally a type 4 engine compartment, then the bumpy parts got hacked off to make a roof flashing type 1 installation look somewhat good, then the last type 1 install left off most of the beetle style tin as well. The evolution of weight saving and performance enhancement, less is more!

Here’s my engine I just got for 400$ Been sitting since 1978.
I’m honestly rather pleased by my grinder made alternator stand.
Also engine came like this. As stated prior apparently it’s been sitting since 1978.
