I thought I'd overhaul a 26 VFIS.The home zinc plating kit was a gem.

I would never think of doing this at home.
How did you enhance the carburetor body? |

Luckily I have access to an industrial bead blaster. |

I used the same proces with less good results - the zinc alloy is still relatively dark. |

In my experience you might have the amps too high. |

Can anyone help im looking to buy some vfis 26 and 28 carbs but the seller took them apart for some reason years ago and found most of the parts but he lost the floats...are the solex 28 pci floats the same i know they make repops of those ???? |
