i recently completed a to-the-bones refurb of my 2003 camper.
rear fold-down seat has been refitted and works & looks great... except... it has a lot of play/movement when in the upright locked position.
feels like a restaurant table on an unleveled floor if you move around.
i don't remember it being like this beforehand. but previously i may have simply wrote it off as "factory."
does anyone else have a wobbly/loose rear bench seat on the T4 winnebago? |

On my 99 there are two strips that fit in the bottom of the track for the seat that like to come out. They are the size of the track on the floor, from memory about a foot and a half long, half inch wide and one eight inch thick. |

That could be it. I had a hard time with those strips when I pulled the rear seat. Thought about riveting them in, then just applied adhesive. _________________ '68 Bus in West Germany, 1977-1979

A few strips were gone so I half'ed the remaining and put 'em back. Helped a bit.
But the tru source of the issue was that the front rolling wheels are adjustable and one had gotten knocked out of adjustment by 1/4".
Adjusting it tight against the ground when seat was upright was all it took. |
