A customer just bought these tires, so I decided to compare them with my BFG AT KO.

Once driving on Ds in a van close to GVWR, you'll never wants Cs again.

I had General Grabber AT2s in 215/70R16 and would not recommend them to anyone after getting two flat tires simultaneously in the middle of Death Valley earlier this year. I have to add that they were brand new at this point with only a couple thousand miles on them. I definitely agree with the others earlier in the thread regarding the load range.
I now have BFG KO2s in 245/75R16 load range E and made it back through Death Valley no problem, and I really beat on them.
The difference in sidewall stiffness between the General Grabbers and KO2s is significant. I could push my thumb into the Grabbers like they were loaves of bread (while they were filled with air pressure to spec), the KO2s feel like solid rubber in comparison. |

They need more sipe's to make them a better winter tire even with the studs installed. _________________ This free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.
