Let's just see how those "NOS" things were packaged... hmmm? Wink

Why am I reminded of another Canadian who tried to sell NOS Westy screw packs for about 7X the cost of going to Tacoma Screw?

That was my initial reaction also but had to ask. You never know.
Maybe that is what you do when you have leftover pinch molding after you install your popout windows Question

Did a quick Google search for "VW 113823299". Bugcity has them. Listed as NOS for $8.95 (each). Description says "Hood Hinge, Back Edge Protector, Black Pinch Welt Cover, Std. 62-77, SB 71-72, Nos German Each." Their web site also says, "Not on the front edge as other believe". Picture shows them on the curved bottom edge, not the straight front edge.

I have seen it on a couple of cars but never really paid attention to it's obscurity.

I've seen it. Got it on a pair of hinges I'm trying to sell. Might take 'em off now.
