I've removed steering columns off type 1s and it's pretty straight forward. I've removed gas tank and end of column from coupler . Can't pull steering column out. I haven't done anything inside. Trying to pull out column with steering wheel attached. Am I missing something? |

2 bolts that hold the column to the dash. _________________ I think he meant "rare", as in "not well-done" |

Ah! So the whole column comes out with steering shaft. No way to just take out shaft and leave column secured? |

Nope. You have to pull everything of the column out. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
