I have a set of Empi 5 spokes w/adapters for my 71 deluxe came with a set of 205/60/r15s. The tires are to fat and rub on the rear wheel wells. I ran a straight edge across the tire to get the distance from the wheel (3/4in.) 165-175-185? I could go to the tire store and figure it out. I know the beetle guys run the 165sr15s but were talkin fat chick here and wanted to here from 68-70 or 71-79w/adapters The bus is lowered w/ Busboys Beam and 2 teeth in the rear torsion arms. You could replace the rear setup with a 68-70' model.

I thought about that but am looking for a narrower tire as the 205s rub on the top of the dog legs when I go over a bump. Something that dos'nt go much past the outer lip of the wheel.
