During paint prep, the grounding screws on either side of the fender (inside of the bonnet) for the headlights were lost. Are these just sheet metal screws (size?), or were there bolts and nuts involved? Also trying to figure out the original location (appears just inside the jack when mounted, and just on the other side of the fuel filler neck) ...
Thanks! _________________ -Harry

Can't answer your questions, but my recollection is that they are like sheet metal screws, not unlike those that hold the door switches to the A-pillars. I'd recommend grinding the paint off and using a star washer to make sure they ground well. |

Yep, they're just small slotted pan head sheet metal or tapping screws. Measuring one from my car it appears they're roughly 3mm by 7mm long. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

This is on a '68, but I guess it shouldn't have changed that much. Poor quality but might help locate.
