How to use VSS on a old vanagon

Just had this made up. It's a 3D printed transition from the old Vanagon speedo cable to the new pulse (VSS) speedometers.
The VSS is from my AFN donor Sharan 1998

Nice Job! That's exactly what I did for a Subaru conversion I did a while back. I made mine out of metal though.

Nice job! Another way of doing that would be to just screw that sensor into the speedo cable box if you happen to have one.

The cluster is from a Golf mk4 or Passat.
What's important is the number ***919*** and VDO!
And make sure you find one for a diesel, see the rpm gauge.
Diesel = 5000 rpm, Gas = 7000 rpm.
