I have searched all over to figure this out and I am totally confused now.
From what I can find the DB refers to LSD for a swing axle but this box is a single side cover IRS . . . WTF ? Car is a 73 squareback

AH is a SSC but with 4.12 R/P..

Does it indeed have an LSD?
If you turn one wheel, does the opposite wheel turn the same way, or the opposite way?
50 years later, all kinds of things are possible.

When I get home I'll jack it up and check.
I also posted in the type 181 forum, the DB stamp makes me think it could've originated from a thing . . . maybe. |
