Hi, I can't find the torque values in my manual for the following
Exhaust to cylinder head those have 13mm nuts
And the small 10mm head bolts that hold the single port manifold to the exhaust heat risers.
Thanks I want to be real careful and not strip the thread in the cylinder head because this cap stainless, stock style 1200 exhaust is really fighting against me on the left side, nothng is lining up.
Help...thanks folks,or should I say Volks😁

That link was helpful..... Laughing

M8 exhaust hardware typically gets 12 ft*lbs, but many folks go closer to 14-16 ft*lbs because they’re lazy and don’t want to retorque fasteners after a few heat cycles, and with every valve adjustment, (like you’re going to do, right?)

All engine torque specs assume you have clean and lubricated threads. I’ve seen stock engines expire with less than 10k miles on them because fasteners were “torqued” with dirty threads and the torque wrench just went ahead and did it’s clicky little job...

I’ve never seen a spec for the M6 heat riser bolts, but “snug” is fine; once the metal gaskets crush, they’re sealed up anyway. As with any deformable gasket setup, replace crush gaskets every time you have the joint apart.

See you on the road,
Robbie
