It was driving me crazy. I didn't consider it could be a self propelled missile system. I was trying to figure out if it was a heavily modified Studebaker Weasel or something.

Portawalls.

With big logos? Only seen smooth ones so far.
These sidewalls are complete with DOT and other markings. Anyone ever see that on “Portawalls”? Shocked

Painted sidewalls. I did that on my bike when I was 12.

Yikes! That thing can move! When I worked in the ski industry we had Bombardier Muskegs for summer mountain/off-road work. I think they topped out at around 12 mph.

If I come across a Hawk loader I may have to take my 66 bug in a different direction.

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.

Here is the graft from the panel to the needed area on "Gigantor". Turned out well.

And here is the ass-end , lots of reinforcement . Looks like a truck now except its not squared off. Home made taillights using some early 60's FOMOCO turnsignal beauty ring, plastic "bullet" marker lenses and custom receiver mounted to the support post that provides strength and rigidity. There was no way to mount stock lights, and I did not have to hack the factory opening ( that sounds bad...). Anyway it now runs and drives, I'll have a video ready by tomorrow.

This one could be yours for $20,000! No engine sealing tin, and that unsupported bevel gear steering looks scary!

This thing keeps popping up on Facebook, and it's getting a lot of love. I hate it at a molecular level.

When a Porsche guy says he loves driving his "open car", is this what he means?
