I would like to remove the AC unit above the rear seat in my 85 Westfalia for more storage is it much of a job? Any suggestions?

I removed the exact same unit from my moms 85' Westy. You're gonna have to remove the headbanger/ shelf to get to all the screws/ brackets etc..
And there are some lines and wiring that goes up through the closet you'll want to yank out. I left the wiring that runs front to back so I can re-purpose it for something else later if I need to.
