Well I just got myself a 10 - 12 day quarantine. A couple coworkers tested positive. Last time they were in the office was Monday. So 14 days from then. I was last in the office on Wednesday so max of 12 more days.
I have no symptoms and was really good about social distancing while in the office. I was only there a couple hours in the morning each day and I have a private office. Although I was not in close contact per se my doc said to self quarantine.
(In my estimation I have had way more potential exposure at the store)
I’ll be living in the first floor computer room and have the first floor full bath as mine. Donna and Brendan will social distance while at home for the duration.
I can still work from home and of course the euro bus project can be worked on as well.
Interesting times... 😉 _________________ Dave O

PRIME time to love on some details in the van. I've enjoyed not feeling rushed about just sitting in the van for hours .... contemplating.... You know how it is. Good job being safe! |

I'll confess there is much about this that eludes me... but why wouldn't they just test you and then decide if you should be quarantined? |

Time to polish and wax that baby. Show it a little love and appreciation for all the good times it's given you. (Ok except that breakdown on the Golden Gate Bridge that one time.) _________________ '69 Squareback RIP

Not enough tests available to do that.
They are using the tests on front line personnel such as doctors, nurses, first responders, and people with symptoms. Hopefully they'll eventually get enough tests out there that folks like me can get tested, but until then... _________________ Dave O

I was gonna spritz a little bleach into my lungs, but I heard today that might not work out. Apparently, the wimps over at Lysol are worried about law suits.
Anyway, Mrs. Howesight and I and our daughter are mainly sheltering in place at home except for the few hours I spend alone at my ghost-town - - er, office.
I have been doing a lot of thinking about the Westy, but very little doing. I am just a little envious of you, Dave, as you have now acquired the perfect excuse for 10 consecutive days of Westy work. Now the hard part - - acting like you don't enjoy those days. Break a leg! _________________ '86 Syncro Westy SVX |

Having just completed about five consecutive days of Westy work, there are other options; bike rides, walking the dog, napping. _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |
