I purchased through this site a couple pieces of trim. Big improvement over my originals but they do have a bit of green overspray on them. Any suggestions on how to carefully remove it without damaging the finish?
And yes, I will then try to polish them...
Thanks.

I would use 0000 steel wool. _________________ '67 Beetle L41

Any danger of eating through the plating? Go slow? Or is it so fine that it won't?
Thanks. |

Use some paint thinner along with the 0000. It will help loosen it up and act as a lubricant. _________________ Glenn

Good to know. I have some headlight rings that have the same issue. Thanks Glenn. _________________ -'85 c10 5.3 LS, 222 cam, long tubes, x pipe, 3 inch spin tech's
