In all seriousness I'll say this. I appreciate that people don't just throw things away, even if they don't have obvious utility. I have a WWII dispatch motorcycle hanging on my wall that a friend gave me in Africa. It's an artifact and I may never restore it. For years I hunted for rough, even unusable parts just to make it complete--and good parts wouldn't have served the purpose. In this time of coronavirus many people have extra time and some of us desperately need money. If someone goes to the trouble to advertise something interesting that doesn't have obvious value, I say power to them. |

It's a curiosity. Maybe it has a story, or maybe a buyer could imagine one. I don't have a split, but I might hang that thing on the wall of my garage. I wouldn't pay 50 Euros but someone might make it worth the seller's trip to the post office. I know this is a whine thread but sometimes you guys can be whiny! |
I agree it's good for that. I would pay 50 Euro either, maybe 5
I have a 1/2 a 36hp engine case in one of my planters outside that someone gave me. It has the crank and a few other parts on it. They somehow lost the other 1/2 and then left it out in the rain for years so it's useless now. I like it having in the yard to laugh at it.
I thought I had a photo but I couldn't find it.
I'll have to get a new pic in the day time. _________________ How to Post Photos

my idea of a super solid car is one where I can't see my feet, or the pedals, when i look under the bonnet _________________ "we're here on Earth to fart around" kurt vonnegut

That’s awesome. That was my alarm clock from when I was about 5 until about 13. So I’d say about 1978. _________________ Kevin "Wiggy"

Is it me or does that rear window look like an oval window with a divider added?
Oval window with split dash grafted in or a real split that had the window cut out and all they could find to fix it with was an oval window clip? _________________ Chris

hmmm, those vent slots seem to follow the window curve too closely like an oval, whereas on a split there is a larger gap towards the outer ones (see below) car also has single exhaust cut out in valence?

The Mickey Mouse clock is terrific stuff !
yeah that 50 split is funky. seat bases are late type, but rear torsion bar housing appears to be split ( shock mounts added). the rear apron doesn't even have a crank hole.
