Transmission case id, replacement?

Doing some work on the trans that came in my 64 bus and found it doesn't have the number on the side.

Has a number and stamp on top of the bell housing. That's the top starter hole at the lower left of number photo.

Is this a replacement case???

The arrow symbol and the X stamps on an engine idicate a factory rebuild, most likely the same on the trans
