i took apart my dashboard to replace some light bulbs. after reassembly, there is a slight ticking every few seconds when i'm moving. the sound is coming from the dash. i'm thinking that it might have to do with disconnecting and reconnecting the speedo cable. is it mechanical? can i spray some kind of lubricant inside the connector? wd40 or silicone or graphite? thanks!

It is mechanical from gauge cluster to the transmission if it’s 93-95.
