Zwitter Standards...Grab Handle & Coat Hook?

Hopefully an easy answer that i couldn't find searching...i've got a 53 Standard Zwitter. Did they originally come with coat hooks & grab handles?

i'd say, negative - I've owned 2 standards and neither had coat hooks or loop handles on the B-posts... never had a '53 though - mine were a '50 and '54...

That would follow suit that the 53 would not have them either, then...were the brackets there to mount them on your standards? Mine has the little tabs with screw holes welded in place on the pillar.

My '53 April oval standard does not have those either - so doubtful if the previous model would

Thanks everybody...i'm just starting to dig into this...it looks like it's had a quarter panel replaced in the past and i didn't notice. the driver side (replaced) has the bracket, the passenger does not.
