I logged all the pieces. With logging you'll remove all the grease and paint.

Next steps are sand blasting and spraying epoxy primer before powder coating.

I was afraid i'd loose all details after powder coating, but luckily it didn't happen.

Those loops on the rear of the fan shroud are not stock.

Did not see the reinforcement strap for the air cleaner bracket. That keeps the fan shroud sheet metal cracking around the coil mount nuts.

Hopefully you got the "Marine Primer" put on at the powder coater.

I made the loops myself as i like this detail.
Porsche used these on there early fan shrouts.

I bought the strap from Greg here on the Samba.
This piece is going to be black in the next batch.
I’m doing engine tin for two different engine’s.

Did you send the oil bath to the powder coater with the coconut fiber inside, or did you manage to get the bath apart?

After the heat of the logging bath the fiber came out.
After some pulling the filter was empty and still is.
Have to find a solution to get it back in.. Laughing
