I recently came across this set of high lift rocker arm assemblies. I am not sure of the manufacturer. The guy I got them from said they were 40hp ratio rockers for Formula Vee race cars. This set is still new in the box. Has anyone seen anymore of these?

Not for sale at this time. I am trying to figure out what they are right now. What do you know about them?

When they go up for sale I will post an add.

You might think but they came out of a collection where they sat for more than 20 years & the box/labeling would not fit the homemade theory.

The finish or a lack of and if u compare pics of each rocker they are all different that's why i think a jig held stock, all holes bored and excess material cut off for clearance needs.

I do agree they look hand made. I just can not imagine that they were made in someones home garage.

Sig Erson? Ok, there is a thought.

I have a similar set on the shelf. They have been there for about 10 years, waiting for an old school project to emerge.

I believe they are early Erson, but have no proof though.

I found a set of these on some 40hp heads at a show a few years ago. I passed on them and let a buddy get them. I do think they are early sig erson rockers though

Yours definitely are a match to mine. I do not know what the lift is. The guy who I got them from said he though they were 1.25 but never checked them.

probably ok on a stock motor. they are not "race" parts.but you can race them if you wish. I have a set they work great on the shelf to look at. I would make my own before running them...but I do have the equipment and brains to make them and most people dont.

I guess I'm wondering what the appeal of these "one-off"? rockers is, especially since they - are according to their packaging - for 1300, 1500 and 1600 based engines. There are so many other mass-produced 1.25 rocker sets available that I'd feel safer using.

I guess I can see the point if it is just to have something that not many others have.

These were made for 40hp engines as well ...i Remember seeing a guy selling these at pomona swaptmeet last year with package /box and I remember clearly the package said 40hp /34 ....thats what made me look for info about them which lead me here ....as far as I know no one knows when they were made 60/70s?? ... back in those days parts were funky so it leads to that time ... so it would be consider vintage speed unless we truly find out the real story and year these really came out .. I couldn't anwser that since I wasn't born or alive in the 60s/70s .....so for know they are considered vintage 40hp /1500
