Dummy fitted my VS exhaust today and it seems to fit perfectly, as you can see from the attached photos. It is not fully tightened yet, so it is sitting about 1 inch lower than it will when tight. This means that the tail pipe will be just about centered in the rear apron cut out. I also like that the shiny stainless steel muffler just shows a little bit out the bottom when viewed from behind, making sure any one following will just get a brief glimpse, and hopefully admire it It would be a shame to hide something as pretty as that completely !!
Working on my heater pipes still, and my heat deflecting plate still to be fitted between muffler and bellows. All in good time......... Got my first door back today with window / scrapers etc all fitted and working Just fitting door seals tonight.

Very nice. Mine was more problematic. We had to put spacers on the top to tilt the whole thing down to clear the apron, and we had to heat the tip to bend it inward a little (not really the muffler's fault, but it interfered with those aftermarket stainless bumper caps). You will love the sound. |
