Nobody cares about your cars like you do!
Fly up and inspect/buy it in person.

Just googled vintage VW near Dewitt and 1 hour away is The Michigan Vintage Volkwagen Club in Plymouth. May try and get them a shout? I'm sure they have members in the area or the car may even be one of theirs?

Yes, but still good advice. We picked up a potential buyer from Florida at the airport and he spent the night with us. He liked/bought our car and flew home the next day. fairlady could drive his new Beetle home or rent a uHaul & trailer? _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Or you could trust someone from a valued community like TheSamba... Worth asking if you don't have the money to fly around the country checking out every vehicle you're interested in. |

Valid point, ya just came across strong looking from my end. Which is good sometimes I suppose. Tossed around the idea you mentioned, if you shop flights right its possible you could break even with what you would of spent paying a shipper plus gain a great experience. _________________ Always chasing Squirrel's. |
