Help with Identifying VW Bumper, thanks!
I got this in a VW Parts lot awhile back. Can someone help me ID what year/model this came off of? It's been sitting in a barn for 30+ years. Thanks!

Type 3

looks nice for a driver, good ones are not as easy to find anymore. I'd come grab it if I were local

Agree; 1969 or earlier. I "think" it's a rear bumper, unless the rear bumper was straight between the brackets and not slightly curved like yours which would make it a front bumper. If a rear, it's missing the two holes on the upper surface just inboard of the overriders for the reverse lights which were on '67 thru '69. So that would make it a '66 and earlier. Here's a '66 Fastback. Same bumper would be used on all 3 Type 3 models of the same year.

Front bumper for comparison, from a '69. You can see how the bumper follows the gentle curve of the nose apron.
