Pre '49 for sure! And customized with a 2 tone paint job, chromed banana bumpers, nipple hub caps, tail lights and popes nose Very Happy

yes, chrome 'nipple' hub caps place it about '47 and the first 'export' cars. I wonder if it is anything connected with a man called Colborne Baber who dealt with the first cars in the uk and even converted them to rhd...for an extra 15 quid!

a well known car in the uk is JLT420 a two tone blue 47 beetle that was owned by colborne baber himself.

KdF-Wagen on display in Nürnberg, Germany, in August, 1938. The car is pictured with its SS security detail, along with traditional "folk maidens."

yes, made by Tuscher of zurich in 1949 for gov use, about 30 were made of which three survive(?)
