Hello,
I present to you my Westfalia caravan from June 1958 version 310-4 entirely original except the fridge and first owner. Very nice rust-free body.
Used between 1958 and 1980 and then stored in a dry barn for 40 years. This caravan is winter equipped, double insulation, heating.
Hydrakup drainage system.
The costs were 2 tires + fabrics for the seats.
A real piece of history with the vintage photos of the previous owner.

Wow. That is an amazing little trailer. Love the whitewall tires on it in the picture with the original owners. Is there an awning that sets up with it?
More pics please.

A stunning original old accessory in incredible condition! Congratulations on the find! I hope to see it someday at some future huge Vintage VW meet near Hamelin, GE in June of 2021?

Yes there is a new tent which has been reproduced and therefore it is not the original one. It mounts without problem with the frame which is original! _________________ Split bus single cab 1967 SO15 Tipper Trucks

great looking rig- interesting to see how much of the hardware used in the trailer found its way into comparable volkswagen westfalia's of the time.
What is that contraption on the back of the door with what looks like metal mesh covering it? |

I think we equipped the combi vw just after this model. On the door is the gas heater with combustion exhaust which is located on the outside of the door! _________________ Split bus single cab 1967 SO15 Tipper Trucks

That is SO cool! Congratulations, we are all so jealous!
You should be able to simply set it up and use it as your lodging as there is a campgound used by lots of VW folk that weekend at H-O. I've seen lots of pictures from the campground, and need to take a walking tour of the campground that weekend to see all the VWs set-up there.

Beautiful I love it fredstil and so does my Westy. Even cooler you are in Belgium my in-laws family still live in Kattem, Belgium. It's a beautiful country. Do you have any idea how much it weighs? Is it aluminum outer shell? I'm so curious. If you have Facebook join us on the Westfalia group.

i already recognize materials used in my so23, built 2 months later: the marmoleum next to the kitchen sink and the round gold vent at the wall. _________________ Aug '58 pressed bumper SO23
