This 67 bus engine is about to get a cleaning. Thought this might be something worth a video.
What do other vw folks do to clean out these oil passages correctly?
Does anyone redrill them a few thousandths larger?

ok read the article was wondering what tools do other vw folks use to clean the oil passages out?
Is there any kind of long drill you could use to redrill them to hone them clean again?

A drill is not going to hone the passage/s. A drill cuts metal, so there is going to be a lot of tiny bits of metal stuck here and there ready to pop loose later.
Even if you use a hone after drilling, the hone is designed for hard ferrous metals, not soft sticky magnesium/aluminum alloy. So any hone would be coated with the softer metal, and no longer act as a hone.
Also if you look, the bigger passages are tapered to get the proper flow to each oiling point.

I use a series of small round brushes from the local Ace Hardware and degreaser like Gunk followed by the water hose and finished with compressed air.

has anyone tried to cut the case so the passages are visible then clean them and use epoxy to fill the spots cut off..
is enlarging the oil passages a good idea?
In a single relief case is there any extra oiling spots that could be drilled into the case to add more oil flow?

No, taper of the passages helps keep oil flow even to each bearing, even in a hot engine with lower oil pressure.

get a series of rifle cleaning brushes with brass bristles. Don't break one off inside. Make sure it is loose enough to run in and out.
That said, if someone has run non-detergent oil in that case for a long time it will take long rods with flutes carved in it to loosen the stuff. I vividly remember working a day and a half in a machine shop to clean oil passages out in a 1930's Buick motor that was run a long time with non-detergent oil. Lots of compressed air too. I use a pressure washer too to run high pressure water thru the passages after scrubbing them.
