Hello All!

I am taking over a restoration on a 64 21 Window Deluxe (has the trim package)

I've searched google etc, but having a hard time finding pictures of the underneath of one as it was done from the factory.

I was hoping you might be able to steer me in the right direction.

Really would love to see factory original, or restored original pics to get an idea of fit and finish quality.

Ex. What do the welds look like? How should the pans fit?

Thanks for any help!

Dan

Just google "vw bus undercarriage" and then click "Images." You'll see a shit-ton of examples...many of them will link you right back to here, The Samba. Once you're back here from the links, you'll usually be right in the threads where they were posted in the first place.

https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_search.php...t_dir=DESC

I typed in "belly pans" in the gallery section for this link. 188 hits. There should be something useful.
At the bottom of the photos you can click on the "find photo on forums" like I did with this one.

Thanks Busstom, thomas!

Hello - are the belly pans supposed to be welded to the jack points?

This is what I'm looking at....
Would love to see some examples of what this "should" look like....
