|
|
My friend has an early 69 Panel van with the following m-code
There is one more mcode which was not clear to me but we believe to be 208 as it has a hitch of some sort (I've asked for clearer pics)
It says it had the Deutsche Post logo stickers. But, what was the original color? 521700 came up as unknown. Was this the DB yellow?
Also, were panel vans available with windows in the middle? Not listed as an option and we're wondering if original or added? Any way to tell?
Thanks! _________________ 1971 1302LS Convertible (RHD) owned since '74

The 521700 was a special paint job, but I never found the actual colors.
Looking at this other similar bus at https://vw-type2-id.xyz/mplate/02022604/ it could have been Post Yellow/Cadmium Yellow (L063).
Note: you can find similar busses on the site by searching for the relevant M-codes, e.g. https://vw-type2-id.xyz/mplate/search/?q=109 _________________ '79 Westy, P22 interior, FI 2.0 l Federal, GE engine (hydraulic lifters)
