I recently tried installing a door panel from jbugs and the clips are not aligned with the holes in the door. Is there an easy way to modify the panels or should I just return them and try with another recommended website? If you have any suggestions for websites that ship fairly cheaply to southern California please let me know. Thank you.

Weird. I used TMI door cards from JBugs, and I had no trouble lining up the clips. You just have to twist the clips to line their points up to the holes in the doors.

Hopefully, this is your problem.

Tim

Same, my TMI are fine. How far off are the holes? You do have to get the clips to slide on the panel so if it 1/4" or so that should fix it.

Took about 7 weeks to obtain my type 3 door panels and they lined up fine. Double check your clips and stuff also compare to the old panels.

I recently installed new TMI door panels, also purchased from Jbugs. I found that there were a couple holes in the panels which needed to be cut a bit closer to edge to match the hole pattern in the door, but the rest were located pretty much spot-on. As others noted above, you can shift the metal clips around in those door panel holes a bit, to get the best match-up with the mating holes in the door. Just keep test-fitting and adjusting as necessary, before your "final" installation.
