Looks good except I don't think a VW motor has enough hp to warrent those ground affects workable. Maybe there is a big block in the rear? I also think the bug body may negate any gain from the new aerodynamic additions, front and rear, but what do I know about aerodynamics? Maybe this guy has a wind tunnel for testing? _________________ Prosit!

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life. |

It looks like a model or a mockup or something. Notice the suspension joins right into the bodywork with no way to actually move. _________________ 1971 Super Beetle |

Yes, something is amiss here. How do you open the door to get in? |

craigslist fresh
I think you need to be 5ft 2in to fit in the front seats.
and that it may be being sold w/o the owners awareness.

New Lowered price, accepting reasonable offers but, only when standing next to the car
Project car sold as is. Vintage cars like this running are posted at around $10k to $37k+.
This car was running before it was stored in my dads garage for the past 12 years or so. (He built and customized it) He drove it on weekends.
I jumped the Battery and it started, needs a tank of gas to continue running.
Do not approach the home where the car resides. The homeowner knows no details. You may stop by and look at the car though. Only use craigs lists email relay to correspond. |

That's highly suspicious alright! There is the possibility that there was a rift between the seller and the homeowner after something happened, like 'dad' dying. So it's possible that the homeowner doesn't own the car but is keeping it from being passed on to who dad wanted it to go to.
Only a title-search and other investigation (potentially criminal investigation) could make the truth clear(er)! _________________ Two Bugs-

As long as the fasteners aren't just screwed directly into the sheet-metal, I'd be totally cool with that! It's beautiful! _________________ Two Bugs-

Ha, you're right! I don't think that's the only damage to that body either, may be a lot of filler in it. From battered body to art-deco car, certainly a unique way to recycle a beat-up Ghia! I kinda like that they used a fancy five-lug wheel for the centerpiece of the nose, reminiscent of the Studebaker Bullet-nose. _________________ Two Bugs-
