The crankshaft Came out of my 1600 type 1 . Think it’s just a stock cross drilled 69 mm crank. But am not sure. This is my first solo attempt to rebuild a VW Aircooled engine . I been searching the web to try to figure it out but apparently I am just not looking in the right places . Trying to get as much information on my own with out have to run over to here and cry for help |

You might have better and faster responses if you post the picture in the engine performance transaxle forum. |

Yup that’s stock crank and if it mics out I’d use it even for 1776 that didn’t see higher than 5k rpms. You are looking at casting numbers. Every once in awhile one breaks because cross drilling makes weaker or they get reground without radius. In conclusion it would have to be stock or 10/10 needing only a light polish within limits or I would buy new. Over the years New has gotten better and cheaper. |
