Shoudn't the rear taillights be mounted lower as well?
I just looked it up and I guess it depends on how early into production this truck was built. It looks like the taillight location was lowered on December 18, 1958 so if this truck was built prior to that it would have the higher taillights. _________________ September 1964 Standard Sunroof walk through SWR/BG original paint. |

Did this thing ever made it here?

The text is precious:

Few mods? Complete running gear minus motor? (Isn't the motor a key part of a 'complete' running gear?) Lots of useable parts? |

I like how you could put a big radio on each side behind the vents. |

I wonder if the craftsman of this piece stood back and said "damn, this design is so much better than the bus I just butchered"? |

The best part is “shipping is expensive” as if $4k for a rack isn’t? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Yes, and that's not the most expensive one I've seen |
x2
You can buy repros of the pop-top style wood slat rack for about $500, FWIW.
I don't know if there is a good thread on westy rack differences.
I shipped a complete assembled NOS pop top westy rack cross country for about $300 by greyhound. In a large box. |

Fully Agree, PUT A PRICE ON YOUR ADDS! There is nothing worse than adds without a price, and I'm sure most people agree. Do you like reading other peoples adds without a price? then price your adds too! Give us a starting point. I would rather see an overpriced add than no price, You know how much you want! Quite often there is stuff for sale that I am interested in and could probably afford but I tend not to deal with unpriced adds, I don't want to offend you and I don't want to overpay. I have asked some sellers if there are any offers that I need to beat or for a ballpark price and usually don't even get a reply. This just makes me think that you don't really want to sell your stuff and you are just playing show and tell and/or you're hoping for some ridicules offer. Good luck! _________________ Dec 54 Ragtop Beetle
