Just had a thought....it is more than likely the same car. I bet that stuff all over the hood, is rail dust, aka fallout.
Ive worked for FCA since 94, and started out as a detailer. We would get new vehicles in and the first thing I would do would be to apply "fallout" remover to each vehicle to get the rail dust off of it before putting them on the lot.

Looks like someone holding a white roof rack to the right next to all the luggage. The rack either just came off or is about to go on.

Dumb, but quick question from a guy who has never lived in a snowy area and only used chains a few times. Chains on the front tires of a rear wheel drive car? Do they help in steering?
