Hi ,
here is a part of the work on the insulation of the bus
I opted for an unusual coating, recycled rubber, at the base we put this under the machine washed, it's sturdy and it dampens vibrations with the advantage of being micro ventilated
the original coating will be placed on top
the gain is significant in terms of rolling noise, engine and also in terms of thermal somewhat.
here is the product
front cabin stripped and repainted
making the template
model in place
then the original carpet on top
rear cabine
the plates are removed to isolate them towards the engine compartment this avoids metal pollution
this allows you to see the tank
then it's installation with just double-sided adhesive tape to prevent slipping
follow me

Hi ,
I continue my quest for soundproofing!
with the housing part of the spare wheel which will be used for tools
then a compartmentalized box takes place
for the rear part
belt fitting for my 3 children
maximum insulation with rubber then rock wool and finally pvc to avoid impacts during loading
under the bucket part of the excess foam in the garage from a sofa and the pvc that keeps the top in place
in the end, my work cases will no longer move during journeys
c'est plus propre aussi
the bucket part will also be protected to avoid impacts in the sides, the floor keeps a wooden lathing which allows once oiling to slide the materials of my small real estate renovation projects.
aluminum plates are placed against the side walls
to be continued

salut !
Abscate thank's !
I continue with the development for a return to the origin!
initially the Porsche seats were in place!
unfortunately everything is not optimal with sometimes rotten sellers
then there are surprises sometimes!
once bald we find the origin
good after a big cleaning
in place
at the rear in place it is quite disparate, but it will be redone!
then I decide to make a closed storage box for the dumpster
after a paint job
we decorate
to be continued

Hi !
So I continued to fit out the dumpster with military version accessories
here is a can that will serve as a jerican of water during bivouac
placed sideways, it aims to pass over the drop side if I am very loaded
seen from an angle
and thanks to an old house shutter system the business works
then installation of the special bivouac canteen with saucepan, stove inflatable extra bed camping gas ....
global view
and little delirium with a broken air rifle just for fun, but hidden from view of all back home in France
then it's up to the bumper to take their own big shot
and then their war paint!
I also took advantage of the rubber meter in the rear bumper where the gravel tended to blow up the paint

Hi !
it is part of the idea which is only really worth if we go to the end of the dream !!
first we start by taking the dimensions of the interior panels of the doka!
with special exterior 5mm plywood
then once all the panels are done
we position to check everything
then comes the 1st coat of paint
make hand made
and in color life is all the better
then it is around certain accessories which frankly lived
it's better ?
in the process it is the decoration on the front and rear bumpers

Wow, interesting project. I would love to be able to read these posts but I do not speak French. Could one of you younger, tech savy folks do an instantaneous translation of all the narrative? Thanks. _________________ Larry in OB

Thanks for the translation work. Your English is fine. Nice work, although I disliked seeing all that beautiful wood on the interior panels covered in camo. _________________ Larry in OB

Hi !
I therefore continue my war paintings, I recall here that it is an old bus chartered with helicopters with the 1st registration,
so I wanted to get as close as possible to what he was, or could have been.
so each painted element is not really very important a backtracking will always be possible although I do not believe it at all!
it lacks camouflage version so by small touch you will tell me if yes or if not
before
after
then it's the turn of the interior layout that I want to modify in order to be able to be in the currency:
"ready everywhere and for everything"
so why ? quite simply because in meeting sleeping in the bucket with the camouflage net only it is average!
a snap-off style carabiner
a leather strap
foldable marine plywood
I will demonstrate the handling
1
2
3
4
5
this was tested with a friend weighing 110 kilos;
well ok he was taller and therefore these feet exceeded me no I am 1.79m
but he will therefore sleep in the dumpster and that's it!

Hi !
I will come back one last time to a photo interesting to note, it is the scale of a small French utility which has been modified to adapt to the bus, but I would come back to it later.
for the moment it's a sewing workshop with the grandmother , suddenly my children have also started, and more particularly my 2nd guy who decided to ask Santa for a sewing machine
my girl 6 older
my boy 13 older
my 2" boy 9 older
grand ma looking
at work
and the amazement of the grandmother who realizes that my guy is doing very well on his own
the seam is to make the rear cabin blackout in order to sleep well on occasion
the back part
and the sides
a door panel in place
this will remain to be detailed later

Hi !
I will detail some accessories and set up in the dumpster, these are what will serve me as an occasional improvised bivouac
here an auxiliary gas heater on cylinder
a 12 volt chrome fan
the fan has taken its place on the air duct screws
a lamp with several red and flashing white function to plug into the cigarette lighter on a box in the dumpster
here 1 but in reality 2 rotating beacons it will be placed on the gallery occasionally as a warning
a railroad controller lamp
an old iron box of hs sander customize to receive the cookware
the interior of the canteen with a compressor, the inflatable mattress, the portable gas stove and lots of other stuff
an ammunition box with the chief's ammunition
a customized aluminum case in a pharmacy box to accommodate condiments, rice, pasta, water, etc. etc.

Hi!
I continue with views in situation in the dumpster, I want to specify that I prepare myself with this configuration to be autonomous in meeting like any camper but in version for artificial military use
for the night lighting I opted for a real very powerful led lamp plug into an exterior socket type cigarette lighter
it will light up a nightclub incidentally
more traditional the pifco lamp to be more connected with the bus
the waterproof exterior electrical box for the various accessories and connection
the beacon plugs are in place and will also allow storage on the gallery
canvas camouflage bikini
the accessories take their place little by little
water canister, gas cylinder for the airsoft rifle and the rifle is under the carpet
two overall views of the layout with the compression cooler also connected to the exterior cigarette lighter
and next
