Just finishing up our syncro build three years later
Burly redid everything underneath.....what an artist!!!
Stephans auto haus did the sweetest job on a 200+ HP 1.8T
JACKDICK Customs did the repaint for me
Now I’m looking for a shop or person to help me work out some kinks in the electric , and help redo some interior work .
Any suggestions in the Orange County/San Diego county you all might suggegest?
Thanks Matt

Wow mudmeyer, right off the top,,,,it doesn't look like you need all _that much_ help...👍🏽
Perhaps..... (of course!!) proper maintenance advice for the 222% HP going thru that little antique, rare, NLA parts; tranny with a granny.

Whose poptop lift strut is that?

My first visit to California Westy in El Cajon went well.
I will have them rebuild my transmission.
Good Luck!

So still looking for a little electrical help.
The biggest issue is the back door and driver door keep going haywire . Is it the wiring or is it the actuators?
Is there a thread out there i could read to help.
Crazy that in Orange County i cant find a good shop for electric.
Any help thanks Matt

Maybe it's more complicated than this, but my rear hatch would unlock when I locked the rest of the doors and lock when I unlocked the front door.

I solved it by lubricating the rear hatch - check out this thread, maybe it's as simple as this - good luck
