I ran the tall tires with the RGBs and did just fine. As soon as I did the IRS, for the motor to be “happy” i was doing 95mph! Shocked

Turn around and went back to figure out a better tire size, 215-65-15s are doing very well with a stock geared Bug center section. Cool

It looks really good, Did you have any issues getting the tires on the rear and do they rub anywhere? Nice pictures

No rubbing. Rears went on very easy. Just deflated them a bit and worked them on from the rear going forward. No issues whatsoever.

Nice. How do you like those CSP disk brakes?

No rubbing at all. The suspension set up is stock with Bilstein Shocks on all 4 corners.

I run the same set up. Get a slight rub when I hit big bumps fast

HI,

I have 215/75/R15 on my 64 Single Cab and I'm in the process of getting a new 2180 stroker. Getting some repairs done to the tranny as well and have the opportunity to change the gearing. What gearing are you running? I've got the 4.12 R&P and 0.82 4th gear. I'm considering going to a 3.88 r&P

Thanks

The motor is a 2110. Big nut transmission with a 3.44 RP and a .89 4th.

Had to deflate the rears to get them on so it’s definitely a tight fit with that size tire on my 60.
