For those of you with an interest in this car, Brutus the prototype 916 and Corina Porsche's personal car, it will be featured in the RM auction in Paris, Feb 2019

https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/pa19

The 916 is the rarest production Porsche ever made, and this one the prototype of the prototype, fitted with a 2.9 RS engine, and personally owned by a member of the Porsche family. What else could make it more valuable?

and we were there when it went through the auction! A collector in the midwest bought it and then took it completely apart to change the color and recover the interior in elephant hide!

Thankfully, he didn't make it into a porch swing.
Some rich people love to march to their own drummer. And Midwest guys. The shame.
