The aftermarket door wedges are crap. But you can flip them left to right and get more miles out of them |

Yes and can be bent by over zealous pump-jockey. |

Also our new fangled primer and paint systems make for a much thicker paint layer.
The thicker paint will fill that tight gas door gap. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

Christian, maybe you can stick some self adhesive, high density foam band on the inside of the gas door, in the gap right next to the hinge. maybe 3-6mm thick. that way the foam will rest against the hinge before the door actually touches the opening ( not opening all the way).
This is what I use, available from Hostra company/ Industrial Rubber and hardware. it is called Zellkautschuk ( natural rubber) and it is water repelling, not soaking and quenching like usual cheap foam.

Now i adjust it a little bit out and realized that it don´t hit the side, it is tight but it worked, i want to keep it like factory, so it it would hit someday, no matter. thanks.
I built a extra wiring harness for the extra flashers front and rear and emergency switch as i need for legal street registration, i hope it works. I want to keep the old little Semaphore switch to control them.
Also cleaned the wiper engine and the Hardware.
