What's everyones thoughts on wheel adapters? I have a 71 super beetle. Seems like all the cool wheels are for the older beetles.

Nothing run wrong with quality billet adapters. I’m not a fan of stamped steel adapters although I’ve never heard of any failures. I running Porsche to Porsche bolt pattern billet spacers.

If you get some of the stamped steel adaptors, a lot of people tack weld the back of the studs so they can never spin. Tom

Don’t forget you can alway get a new bolt pattern drilled into rotors and drums. Check out Top Line Parts. They do it and specialize in supers.
