Thing front end or raised spindles or cut/turned beam
Re-index rear torsions. _________________ 74 1303 (RevBug): plan for German Look

I agree thing spindles and BJs being the best. I went that route. BJs (specifically uppers) seem like they last longer than bug. Hard to say, they’re bigger but there is more force on it.. |

The term "best" is very subjective. One man's best is another man's worst.
I agree with Bill's thought that for the job stated, cut & turn is a better way than getting rarer by the minute Thing spindles. I like Thing spindles, but they're expensive and hard to find. It takes more than JUST the spindles too. Bug arms CAN be used. _________________ Richard

Yes, no one would be happier than me if the best way was always the cheapest way but sadly, that's hardly ever the case. _________________ 1974 Beetle. Bus/Porsche/Rover V8 (Buick 215ci) Baja. (Unfinished project)
