I would like to Start a Remote control thread.
I dream of having a highly detailed 1:10th scale syncro to go rock crawling,and use at Vanagon get together's, maybe even I see others eventually bringing one also.
So I start on the one I want, the 3d print is share-ware, there are a few videos of this one.

This is coming cool! Last Xmas I got a surprise, Traxxas TRX-4 and it's been a blast. I've cut the defender down and made it into a truck. If I ever destroy the lexan body I'd love to have a doka! |

pf;
...may I suggest installing a gopro camera in the drivers compartment...that could make for some interesting footage...especially when you chase the cat around with it...BIG KITTY!
Cheers |

I have a Traxxas TRX 4 Defender and it is surprisingly fun. A Syncro Vanagon or Doka body would be really cool and I would certainly buy one if they were available. The way the Traxxas frame is made, it is possible to shorten the wheelbase to match a given body. It looks like that body was designed for an Axial brand crawler chassis, but it could probably be adapted to either. I prefer the Traxxas chassis because it has locking differentials, high and low range and portal axles. But either one would be fine. I think the wheelwells would have to be cut bigger to allow for the standard TRX 4 wheels, though. It would spoil some of the scale detailing, but you don't really want the wheels any smaller than what already comes on a TRX4. |

My son and I have 2wd Traxxas cars. I could drop that on there and do a pre-runner van!

That's really cool.
I like that it doesn't have a fuel filler; all electric Syncro Doka! _________________ Currently:
