I probably have one of the last German 15-windows (built July '63) I think.

I'm interested to know that too.
I know I have seen a few July 4th/5th and my 8th
For the record in July, 1963:
The 5th was a Friday and the 8th was a Monday.
I wonder if they stopped early in July to gear up to start making 64s?
This Bus is July 8th too but a tiny bit earlier than mine:

I know there is a July 11th Deluxe Bus but it's a 23-Window

It was a friday, and some dude had to stamp out an extra weeks worth of M-code plates so he could go on vacation. (just guessing)
I have seen another place where there was a gap of 2500 vins in one day. The M-code plate was just the start of the production, so they could vary a bit from when the buses were actually produced. Daily production was about 600 in '63. _________________ .
