When outside the vehicle, I use the passenger side mirror. When inside, I use the mirror on the inside of the "wardrobe cabinet" door.

Yeah I do not have the mirror on the cabinet door.
Thinking about finding one that would fit in the sliding window track for standing outside or inside.

I have to chime in before someone else does....
The wardrobe mirror.... lift the door off the wardrobe and lean it on the open kitchen unit lid....

Were you to put a mirror on your cabinet door you'd be pleased to find that the door lifts off nicely and you can place your mirror in many places at many angles.

When I don't use the passenger side mirror, I use the driver side mirror. Why add another one?
BTW Why do people mount bottle openers when the Vanagon already has two of them built in? |

Hang it from a tree, take it to the KOA shower, stand it up inside the van, use it to inspect the splinter in your eye or what's up in there under the dashboard, and so on...

Guys, I've had a beard since I was 17 yr. old. girls thought I was a teacher during High School.
Just because I do not want to look like this guy...
and prefer to have my beard impeccably trimmed and neat for job interviews because I work in that kind of world.
What I do have is a face that is not straight so I need a mirror to cut the bottom edge so it looks straight while my eyes are level.
Believe me...I've looked like that guy^

That was the first "trick" my Westy owning friend showed me when I was considering buying mine. One does need to be careful though, the latch can reach a little too far down the bottle neck and crack the glass.
I can't grow facial hair to save my life so the thought of shaving while camped has never crossed my mind. However, my wife has taken to shaving her legs in the morning while seated in her camp chair. Apparently the light is better on a sunny day outdoors than it is in her bathroom at home
