I have a 68 beetle that needs new doors I have a pair of 66 doors in perfect shape. If i move the striker pads at the pillar towers will the hinges line up? Has anyone done this or is this even possible? Send pics please if any?

Are 68 and up doors, hard to find in CA?

No just had those doors already. Also when i picked up the bug it had lots of 66 parts on it already.

Get you tape measure out and compare them. Bottom of door to bottom of hinges and you might as well measure the whole door while you are at it.

Trade your 66 doors, for 68 and up doors.
