Color codes for interior parts for a 56

I have a November 55 (56 model) L227 Strato Silver car.

I have found on here the wheel hub centres to be L82 Silver White which I assume correct. Then I found a link to a paint book which gave various options for the wheel disc centres. So how can I establish what mine would have been?

Does anyone have the code for the seat frames, gear stick, E brake, steering column, steering wheel and metal bar that go under the rear seat base? I´ve found these:

L75 Beige
L275 Light beige
L471 Stone beige
L472 Grey beige

Anyone know which or could paste me in a link to the progressive refinements or another page which lists them?

With regard to the steering wheel, I saw that you helped another person out back in March but with the code L278. He had a late 56-57 car. Did they change the code then?

Also, could you then verify the code for the wheel hub. I think I have narrowed it down to either L87 Pearl white or L82 Silver white.

Did they change the code then? … looked at 1956 and 1957 charts and both years used the same code of 278 for the semi-batwing steering wheel - i'll bet it was the same to 1959.

Also, could you then verify the code for the wheel hub. I think I have narrowed it down to either L87 Pearl white or L82 Silver white. … road wheel for strato silver car = outer, L227 and inner, L87 pearl white and hub cap center /L227

The first printing (1986) of Garwood's book had several errors in the oval window color charts that he corrected in the 1987 revision.

Body L227

Wheels and hub L227/L87

Seat frames, steering column, E brake, gear shifter & back seat support L71

Steering wheel and blinker stalk L278 now because originally you said L271?

Shocks - a reddish brown colour

Tank, door internal armrest supports, behind dash support and heater tubes under back seat - a blue/grey color

If someone could confirm the steering wheel color would I be ready to go?

Just to confirm: strato silver cars up from 4. August 1955 have L 82 silver white wheel centers.

And L271 or L278 for the steering wheel and blinker stalk color.

I have a 15th November 1955 car.

Perhaps L87 Pearl white was up to August 55 and then it was L82 Silver white?

Perhaps L271 was also until August 55 and then it was L278?

Please help to clarify. I´m almost there!

For your car it stays with L82 silver white, there is no pearl white.

I have a 56/57 Agave green and wondered if anyone could clarify if the colours would be the same for mine,

I know the wheels are listed in the paint codes section as L87 pearl white but what would the
steering wheel, column, e brake. gearstick, seat frames and rear seat support have been finished in?
